About Hannah Dickinson, LMFT
You don’t have to handle this alone; I am available to help and support you.
I am a Nashville-based therapist (LMFT 1586) who specializes in marriage and family relationships, bringing a comprehensive and compassionate approach to my practice. Over the past decade, I have developed and refined my expertise across a variety of mental health settings, consistently working to elevate the quality of client care through strong leadership and adherence to evidence-based practices. I began my career at a counseling center, where I provided support to children, adolescents, and adults as they navigated mental health challenges, life stressors, and significant transitions. Later, I expanded my experience by offering in-home and community-based therapy at a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, working closely with youth and young adults involved in the foster care system. After relocating to Nashville, I joined a residential treatment center, where my dedication and clinical skills allowed me to grow from a therapist role into the position of Executive Clinical Director. In this leadership role, I managed interdisciplinary teams spanning clinical, medical, and operational departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and overseeing the entire program process from client assessment through discharge and follow-up. Following my time in residential treatment, I served as a Clinical Director for a concierge coaching company, providing in-home, virtual, and hourly support to clients facing complex challenges such as eating disorders, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns. At this point in my career, I am choosing to refocus my attention and energy fully on direct client work, aiming to make a meaningful difference in their lives through hands-on therapeutic support.
Hear me when I say:
Everyone is deserving of healing.
I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey you are on. You are enough just as you are right now, with all your unique strengths and even your imperfections. I am here to offer my support, to help you heal from past wounds, and to guide you gently toward achieving the life you truly want to live. Together, we will work through a compassionate and collaborative approach that honors your individual experience and goals.
How I work
At the core of my approach to therapy is a deeply held belief that every client possesses the inherent potential to discover meaningful repair and healing within their relationships, fostering growth and resilience along the way.
I believe that truly high-quality behavioral health services extend beyond simply supporting the individual alone. They encompass the individual’s entire support systems, including family, friends, and community resources, creating a more comprehensive and holistic approach. This integrated method fosters meaningful change on multiple levels and promotes sustained, long-term success in recovery and well-being.
